Pop star Britney Spears has confessed she is desperate to get married again.

The Toxic hitmaker divorced the father of her sons Kevin Federline in November 2006, and had a short-lived marriage to childhood friend Jason Alexander in 2004.

But Spears, mother to Sean Preston, three, and Jayden James, two, insists her previous bad experiences have not put her off getting wed for a third time.

She tells Glamour magazine, "In five years I would like to be married and have a father figure for my kids, someone who is a provider and can be really stable. It's hard doing it on your own."
